14 April 2004 Perry Promoted to Accounting Supervisor at Mid-Continent Wichita, Kan. Mid-Continent Instruments announces the promotion of Roni Perry to Accounting Supervisor. Perry will assist the Controller with supervising all accounting and administrative employees in order to continually improve the cost accounting system. Perry brings 12 years of payroll, tax return and accounting experience to Mid-Continent. For the last seven years, she has served as an accountant at Mid-Continent coordinating all financial processes including payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas and began her accounting career working for a non-profit company there. “Roni’s years of experience have taught her to be thorough and accurate, which gives Mid-Continent and its customers peace of mind knowing their best interests are being taken care of,” said Cindy Highbarger, Controller. “Having her in a supervisor position benefits our employees because she is an example of hard work and dedication. She teaches our staff about the work ethic needed to satisfy our customers and be successful.” Mid-Continent Instruments manufactures aircraft instruments for the general aviation industry. Services at the Wichita, Kansas facility also include developing and manufacturing new avionics products. Mid-Continent Instruments West in Van Nuys, California provides new instrument sales and is the top-rated instrument overhaul shop on the west coast. Together the locations employ more than 150 people and offer the largest general aviation instrument overhaul/exchange program in the world. Specialties include gyro, altimeter, HSI and autopilot system overhauls. Mid-Continent instruments are found in all new Cessna airplanes and in Raytheon’s Beech line of Bonanzas, Barons, King Airs and 1900 Airliners. Instruments are sold to other manufacturers such as GARMIN International, Honeywell, Cirrus, Lancair, Piper Aircraft Inc., Diamond and Robinson Helicopter Co.
