Phillips Joins Avionics Customer Support Team at Mid-Continent

Wichita, Kan.  Mid-Continent Instruments announces the promotion of Bobby Phillips to Customer Service Representative.  Phillips will work specifically in the Avionics Department.  In addition to providing customers with quotes, he will troubleshoot and offer general customer service as part of Mid-Continent’s continuing effort to provide a high level of customer service.  “By having Bobby in the Avionics lab to help Bruce, we increase our ability to be even more responsive to customer needs, “ said J. Todd Winter, president.

Phillips has five years of experience in the aviation industry, and has been at Mid-Continent for two of those years.  “Bobby was customer-service driven when he worked in the shipping department,” said Bruce Grammon, Avionics Manager.  “He did whatever was necessary to get the customer’s unit shipped on time.”  Previously Phillips worked for three years at AirTechnics in the shipping department.  His work in shipping and receiving has enabled him to learn about the delicacies of aviation parts and their guidelines.

During his pursuits to get units out the door, Phillips helped in various departments, such as inspection and paint while learning other aspects of instrument manufacturing and repair.  “Bobby has a great personality.  His eagerness to learn and his willingness to wear numerous hats benefits Mid-Continent and its customers,” said Grammon.
