Embraer Phenom 300 Emergency Battery Power Supply STC Kit
Designed for a 28V electrical bus, the TS56 Emergency Battery Power Supply (EBPS) provides reliable power for cabin and exit lighting in the event of main electrical failure. It has an identical mounting footprint and is a direct replacement for Radiant 640-13595-00/7450LS-00 power supplies on Embraer Phenom 300.
The TS56 EBPS delivers an all-in-one power supply and battery pack solution resulting in lower total acquisition and life-cycle cost. It offers a useful life of 6 – 8 years, 4 years longer than competing units, and features a 2-year, on-wing capacity check with no removal required.
It is equipped with a rechargeable battery pack that is easy to remove and can quickly be replaced in the field without any tools. This significantly shortens maintenance timelines and extends product life.
This EBPS features Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery technology which offers improved performance, battery life, safety, and reduced weight compared to Nickel Cadmium (NiCad). NiMH eliminates memory effect found in NiCad chemistry, allowing for more flexible charging and discharging cycles, and higher cycle life without an impact on capacity.
