New TC800 Series converters offer multiple configurations, deliver up to 1200 watts of power for IFE systems, USB chargers, and avionics
DALLAS —True Blue Power today introduced the company’s modular TC800 Series Converters during the New Product Introduction session at the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) International Convention and Trade Show in Dallas, Texas.
The new AC-to-DC converters are designed for business and commercial aircraft, VIP cabin configurations, and special missions applications. Units convert 3-phase 115 VAC (360–800 Hz) into a 28 VDC output for IFE systems, USB chargers, avionics, and other equipment. When equipped with the TC800 Series Hold-up Module, units provide continuous power during input voltage dropouts, up to 300 milliseconds.
