
True Blue Power Unveils Lithium-Powered S.211 at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026

OSHKOSH, Wis. — True Blue Power, the leading manufacturer of lithium-ion aircraft batteries, today announced the successful installation and performance validation of its advanced lithium-ion engine start battery on an SIAI-Marchetti S.211 military trainer and light-attack aircraft. Now on display at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, the S.211 serves as Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics and True Blue Power's primary flight test platform, showcasing the capabilities of the companies’ product line, including the True Blue Power Gen5 TB50 (50 amp-hour) Lithium-ion Battery.
Engineered as a true same-size replacement for standard 44 amp-hour batteries, the TB50 delivers a seamless upgrade path for Warbird owners and operators while delivering significant operational benefits.
