Additional Information:
New Outright
Through Mid-Continent’s New Outright program, you will receive a newly manufactured unit. A return core is not required. We’ve developed an extensive line of instruments, avionics and electrical accessories that offer outstanding value and reliability. You can count on absolute quality of every instrument that goes out our door. Each Mid-Continent unit is triple-tested
Warranty
We warranty all New Outright units for (1) year or eight hundred (800) hours of operation, whichever occurs first. All gyro products have a maximum six (6) months shelf life. Units held in storage should be exercised every six (6) months to insure unit performance when installed. We will repair or replace a defective Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics unit under warranty once the unit is returned and we verify the malfunction. After repair or replacement, items under warranty retain the unused portion of the original warranty. For units not manufactured by Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics, we will repair units under the Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM) warranty if we are an authorized repair station for the specific manufacturer. Otherwise you must contact the original manufacturer for warranty claims if needed. Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics warrants that all articles we furnish will conform to applicable specifications at time of shipment and be free from defects in workmanship and in materials we replace. Our obligation will be limited to replacement or repair. Except for a warranty of title and the warranty set forth above, no other warranties, express or implied, or other obligations or liabilities shall apply. In no event will seller be liable for any incidental damages, consequential damages, special damages, indirect damages, loss of profits, loss of revenues, or loss of use, even if informed of the possibility of such damages, seller’s liability for damages arising out of or relating to a product or order is limited to the lower of catalog or contract price for the specific product that gives rise to the claim. To the extent permitted by applicable law, these limitations and exclusions will apply regardless of whether liability arises from breach of contract, warranty, tort (including but not limited to negligence), by operation or law, or otherwise.
New Exchange
Through Mid-Continent New Exchange program, you will receive a newly manufactured unit.
To complete the exchange, you must return a repairable core within 30 days. The core can be a similar or like part number. Cores with similar part numbers are subject to higher exchange prices. Please send us your core for evaluation. If the return core is evaluated and deemed not repairable, we will let you know and offer the exchange to you at the outright sale price. Non-repairable issues include corrosion, damage, impact damage, water damage, etc. Units should be in working order. These are units that are ready for use or service within a standard overhaul or repair.
We strive for immediate, off-the-shelf availability to support customers in providing fast service to the end-user. Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics stands behind its work. Your satisfaction is the cornerstone of our business. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, let us know. For assistance, contact a customer service representative at either of our two locations.

Overhaul Exchange
Through Mid-Continent’s Overhaul Exchange program, you will receive an equivalent instrument in fully overhauled and certified (OHC) condition. To complete the exchange, you must return a repairable core within 30 days. The core must have the same part number as the exchanged unit and a legible, original data plate. If the unit is identified as a critical core, the return core must be returned in 10 days. Please send us the core for evaluation. If the return core is not repairable, we will let you know and offer the exchange to you at the outright sale price or at the cost to replace the core with a factory-new unit. Non-repairable issues include corrosion, damage, impact damage, water damage, etc. Units should be in working order. These are units that are ready for use or service within a standard overhaul or repair.
Units under the original manufacturer’s warranty do not qualify for exchange, but may be eligible for warranty repair with original manufacturer’s approval. We strive for immediate, off-the-shelf availability to support customers in providing fast service to the end-user. Exchanges incur no additional charge above a standard overhaul. Returned instruments are completely overhauled, tested, and recertified before being placed back in our exchange pool. If no exchange is available or you prefer to keep the original unit, we can overhaul it for you. Overhauls are fully reconditioned and all damaged or worn parts are replaced. We take pride in reducing turnaround time to a minimum. If a part is not readily available, we will notify you immediately of any expected delay. Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics stands behind its work. Your satisfaction is the cornerstone of our business. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, let us know.
