Wichita Aerospace Company Announces 28,000 Square-Foot Facility Expansion

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics and True Blue Power are expanding company headquarters to support growing manufacturing, research and development, engineering, and in-house testing capabilities.

Wichita, Kan. — Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics, a technology company and world leader in the design and manufacturing of aerospace products, today announced a 28,000 square-foot addition to its Wichita, Kansas headquarters. The expansion is part of the company’s long-term, strategic plan to support immediate and future growth, accommodating increased customer demand, worldwide.

Expanding our company allows us to grow our manufacturing facilities, in-house design, testing capabilities, and engineering department. This will attract new talent and add well-paying aviation jobs in the Air Capital.”

Founded in 1964, Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics employs more than 200 employees in two locations: Wichita, Kansas and Chatsworth, California. Mid-Continent’s Wichita headquarters is located at 9400 E 34th Street North. The company has selected Kansas-based design firm Alloy Architecture for this project and will break ground Fall 2023.
